Maroochy River is the Sunshine Coast’s newest and most exciting golf course. Designed by Graham Marsh, the 18-hole par 72 layout is unique in that it is basically a links-style course, with wide fairways, few trees and lots of strategically placed bunkers.
What makes it challenging is the water, which is a feature of almost every hole, and the wind. It’s a rare day that the wind does not affect play, but one important benefit is that it keeps golfers cool in even the warmest weather.
Though the golf course was opened in only 2015, Maroochy River Golf Club has a long and proud history.
